WMLA Scantioned "Hunters Match" for ALL Muzzleloaders Sat. Aug. 18, Noon - 4:00 PM
Submitted by SmokepolerRoy on Wed, 08/15/2018 - 6:39amThe CVCC will be hosting a Wisconsin Muzzleloaders Association sanctioned “Hunter's Match” for the 16th annual “Smoke in the Valley” Shoot. The match is open to both WMLA members and the general public. (WMLA Memberships will be available at the shoot for $20/yr.). Entry fee for the shoot is $10. Summary of WMLA “Hunter’s Match” Rules for the shoot are – Description of Equipment Any muzzleloading rifle or smooth bore that is legal for hunting in Wisconsin may be used. Ammunition Any acceptable hunting bullet, cloth patched round ball, naked conical, or conical with sabots are allowed. The propellant is to be Black Powder or any acceptable substitute recognized by the NMLRA. Program Rules 1. Slings and shooting sticks may be used.
Military Rifle Shoot - Sat. Aug. 25, 2018 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

1. Open to any centerfire rifle that was issued to any military organization, manufactured before 1960.
2. Rifle must have issue stock and issue iron sights.
3. Ammo should be of military power, either surplus, factory or reloads.
4. No shooting jacket or slings.
5. $10.00 registration fee for each shooter. The course may be re-shot for an additional $2.00 fee.
Rules – Modern Rifle
1. Open to any centerfire modern military style rifle ( AR, AK, etc.)
2. Rifle may have any stock and any non-magnification sights.
3. Ammo should be of military power, either surplus, factory or reloads.
4. No shooting jacket or slings.
5. $10.00 registration fee for each shooter. The course may be re-shot for an additional $2.00 fee.
Membership form updated

The new form is adds a couple of additional fields and organizes the information to make it easier to enter in the database. It now includes a note for renewals. On renewals you only need to fill out enough information to uniquely identify yourself if your information hasn't changed. That way you don't have to fill out needless information and we don't have to check all the information to ensure it hasn't changed.
